C C Patil is a member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly and a member of the Bhartiya Janata Party, who had served as Minister for Women and Child Development in the D. V. Sadananda Gowda Government. He was a member of the legislative assembly from Nargund from 2004 to 2013.[1][2]

He resigned as a Minister on February 8, 2012 during the Karnataka video clip controversy.[3][4]
