Cabezón de la Sal is a municipality located in the autonomous community of Cantabria, Spain. According to the 2007 census, the town has a population of 7,971 inhabitants.

Languages

The official language spoken in the municipality is Spanish although not its standard version but the Cantabrian one with some specific differences in its pronunciation and semantics to the standard Spanish.
