Campogalliano is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Modena in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 45 kilometres (28 mi) northwest of Bologna and about 8 kilometres (5 mi) northwest of Modena. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 8,044 and an area of 35.0 square kilometres (13.5 sq mi).[3]
