In order to expand the acceptance of their credit and debit cards, many networks, such as Discover Card, JCB and China UnionPay create alliances with other networks.

Existing Reciprocal Agreements

The table below is designed so that you can easily look up your branded card in the first column, and see what other networks it is accepted on. Information, naturally, will be repeated as a result.

Pulse (Debit cards)

As of November 1, 2007, China UnionPay cards may be accepted where Discover Network Cards are accepted in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean.
Diners Club Discover Excludes United States & Canada issued cards, which are MasterCard cards.
Discover JCB (Japan Only)

Diners Club

Discover acceptance at Japan's JCB started in 2008.
JCB Discover As of October 12, 2007, JCB Cards must be accepted anywhere Discover Network Cards are accepted in the United States, Puerto Rico, Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands.
