Carol Isherwood (born July 27, 1961) is a former English rugby union player and a founding member of the Rugby Football Union for Women. She captained Great Britain against France in 1986. She then captained England in their first game against Wales a year later.[1]

Isherwood was the first woman appointed to the IRB Rugby Committee in September 2009.[2] She was inducted into the IRB Hall of Fame in November 2014.[3][4] She was awarded an OBE in 2003.[5]
