This is a maintenance category which may sometimes be empty, but should not be considered useless. See WikiProject Astronomical objects for more information.

This category lists articles about planetary objects, with old-style tables or deprecated infoboxes which need to be converted to the new standard. Any editor can assist with this task.

To add an article to this category, tag the article talk page with the template {{New infobox}} using the following syntax:
{{New infobox|type=planet}}.

To clean up articles in this category, convert them to use {{Infobox planet}}.

1. Copy the correct infobox to the top of the article. (See Template:Infobox planet/doc.)
2. Fill in as many fields as possible.
3. Preview the article to ensure the new infobox displays the correct information.
4. Remove the old infobox.
5. Remove the {{newinfobox|type=Infobox planet}} or {{New infobox|type=planet}} template from the article's talk page.
6. Save the page.
