Start of comments.

I made the page List of tributaries of the Gila River(this evening, and not to address this Colorado R cat.). I then made a minor correction (2 additions, etc.) on the List of Arizona rivers.

I said on the talk page for the List of tributaries of the Gila River, that some decisions would be made by this weekend; now seems a little more appropriate. On the cat: " [Category:Lower Colorado River Valley] " can now be found a sub cat: "Lower Colorado River", and a 2nd subcat: "Tributaries of the Lower Colorado River in Arizona". Only Three Major rivers go into it(the Col.Riv) from arizona. The Colorado River merely passes through Arizona(and is our Western border with Calif), with little actual H20 input from the ambling Arizona rivers, except when they are in flood stage, (or with excessive snow melt).

I finally figured out today(During conversation, the Epiphany came), 7 March 2006, that about 2/3 of the (geographic(not elevational)), area of Arizona is drained through the ultimate endpoint of the Gila River, just north(10 mi) of Yuma, Arizona. --MichaelMcAnnisYuma,AZMmcannis 05:38, 8 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Page for LCRV

[edit]

Plans are in the works for an article for the LCRV, the Lower Colorado River Valley. (The category was made just days ago.)--MMcAnnisMmcannis 05:52, 8 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
