Contested deletion

[edit]

This category should not be speedy deleted as being unpopulated, because... (Due to an ongoing discussion about the articles in this category being deleted without notification of main spaceflight editors and consensus being reached with minimal input. Seeing some of these pages will likely re-instated due to their high-quality nature, it seems pointless to remove a page which will return.) --AndrewRG10 (talk) 10:04, 16 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I removed the deletion template I added earlier. What happens with this category depends on what happens to the booster articles, obviously, once that is settled we can keep or delete the category as suitable. --mfb (talk) 13:02, 16 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Mfb: There is a chance that only a handful will get re-instated because some of them don't have enough info yet. This page was made cause we had too many, but if we only have three pages, this could be deleted for a few years before we have several five or sixth flight boosters. --AndrewRG10 (talk) 21:23, 16 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
To add, if SpaceX flies these like the Shuttle, they will be very willing of getting their own articles. Heck look at the Space Shuttle articles in 2005, very little info but as they headed to retirement they got more info. These are valuble articles which are Google top results. --AndrewRG10 (talk) 02:36, 17 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I reverted the speedy deletion C1 because the category is not empty at the moment, so C1 cannot apply. --mfb (talk) 02:53, 17 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
