Two different Al Jacobs
[edit]"This Is My Country" is by a different Al Jacobs and nshould not be on this list. I don't know how to correct this, nor would I want to do it by myself. I will leave it to others with more expertise in popular songs. RicRobCC (talk) 14:35, 23 October 2024 (UTC)
- @RicRobCC: Hi. Thanks for bringing this to attention. You can correct the problem yourself, and it's actually quite easy.
- Go to the article This Is My Country and remove the category declaration. And that's it! You will find the category at the very bottom of the page along with the other categories. It will look like this when you find it:
[[Category:1940 songs]]
[[Category:American folk songs]]
[[Category:American patriotic songs]]
[[Category:Songs written by Don Raye]]
[[Category:Songs written by Al Jacobs]]
- ...and it will look like this after you fix it:
[[Category:1940 songs]]
[[Category:American folk songs]]
[[Category:American patriotic songs]]
[[Category:Songs written by Don Raye]]
- Let me know if have any questions or need assistance.
- (P.S. and you don't need to be a music expert to conclude that a one-year-old person probably didn't compose the music to a popular song. Clearly two different people;) --DB1729talk 16:04, 23 October 2024 (UTC)
- ...follow up. User:RicRobCC apparently got the message and removed the problematic cat[1] the day after my above post. Well done!:) Also a classic example of how editors effectively use the talk page, even when it looks like those who use talk pages don't use them. Does that make sense? Anyway, glad this all worked out. Cheers! --DB1729talk 15:06, 25 October 2024 (UTC)
