What is Needed to Complete the European Chips Act Article

This is a good start to the article detailing the European Union's current effort to become leaders in the microchip industry, arguably an increasingly important industry in today’s times. However, there are a few things that should be expanded upon. Here are a couple of questions that come to mind after reading this stub-class article.

What is the exact percentage of microchips worldwide that Europe accounts for? How is that percentage divided between the different countries in the EU? Are some countries pledging more funds to the ECA investment plan than others? If so, a list of how much euros each EU country is pledging would be great information to add.

The criticism section could use a bit more information. Do all governments in the EU support the ECA equally? What are the most cited criticisms of the ECA? Where are those criticisms coming from? All over the EU or just some countries? 161.31.8.20 (talk) 01:08, 16 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
