There do not appear to be links for a variety of subject headings related to wifi signal reception.

Examples of keywords/topics would include:

wifi Signal: GAIN, RECEPTION, RECEIVERS, BOOST, AMPLIFICATION, ANTENNAE, (usb wifi gain devices)

Anyone who has attempted to access the www with a wireless device from a hotel room, using the wifi provided for guests, will be familiar with this topic.

There appear to be a growing number of references, discussions and potential solutions posted on the internet specific to this topic. The majority are commercial and certainly biased.

For this reason, I feel that those confused by the distinction between:

  • improving wifi signal strength as it's SENT from a wifi signal transmitting device

- versus -

  • improving the wifi signal RECEIVED (or captured) by a compliant device

will certainly appreciate the inclusion of references and subject pages that relate specifically to the later.

Wikipedia can help those seeking to aducate themselves on topics related to the reception of wifi signals by clarifying and differentiating wifi signal transmission from reception.

My difficulty in finding sound, unbiased citations related to issues of wifi signal reception reinforces the pressing need for factual information on Wikipedia.
