Cayana Airstrip (IATA: AAJ[2], ICAO: SMCA[1]) is a public airport serving Awaradam, Suriname.[1][2] It is located at Cayana (also spelled Cajana or Kajana) in Suriname's Sipaliwini District.

Accidents and incidents

  • Suriname On June 18th, 1982 Cessna U206G (PZ-TAC) from Gonini Air Service got damaged at the Cayana airstrip. The pilot was Mr. Kuiper, he escaped serious injuries. [6]
