The Central District of Meshgin Shahr County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان مشگین‌شهر) is a district (bakhsh) in Meshgin Shahr County, Ardabil Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 112,128, in 26,284 families.[1] The District has one city: Meshgin Shahr. The District has four rural districts (dehestan): Dasht Rural District, Meshgin-e Gharbi Rural District, Meshgin-e Sharqi Rural District, and Shaban Rural District.
