Channomuraena vittata is a moray eel found in coral reefs in the Pacific, Indian, and western Atlantic Oceans.[1] It is commonly known as the broadbanded moray, banded moray, banded creeping eel, Chinese moray, double-ended moray, long-jawed moray, or the strange moray.[2]
