Martina at the 2007 World Championships

Churandy Martina (born 3 July 1984 in Curaçao) is a sprinter from the Netherlands Antilles.

His personal best time over 100 metres is 10.00 seconds achieved in April 2008 in El Paso, Texas.

, 200m is 20.17, and 400m is 46.13

Martina was one of the three competitors who represented the Netherlands Antilles at the 2004 Summer Olympics. He bore their flag in the opening ceremony.

On July 24th, 2007 he won the gold medal at the Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro in the 100 m sprint with a time of 10.15 seconds. He finished fifth in the finals of both the 100 m and 200 m at the 2007 World Championships in Osaka.
