Cid Ferreira Gomes (born April 27, 1963 in Sobral, Ceará) is a Brazilian politician, and a member of the Democratic Labour Party (PDT).

Gomes is the former Governor of Ceará.[2] During his governorship, his deputy governor was Francisco José Pinheiro. As of January 1, 2015 he was named Minister of Education of Brazil in the cabinet of Dilma Rousseff.[3]
