March 2017 she was banned by the SWA for "misbehavior" and was not allowed to do weigthlifting locally and internationally but she took a lawyer and revocated the unjistified decision and ban.

Despite she was not allowed to do weightlifting she kept on training doing Power lifting with her coach Zaher HAMDAN and after 6 months she managed to become the 2017 French Open Champion in weightlifting, then participate in the African Championships & the Commonwealth Championships where she won the Gold medal.
