Clifford The Big Red Dog is the direct-to-video animated TV shows based upon the popular children's book series, Clifford the Big Red Dog, created by Norman Bridwell. It was originally released on videocassette from Family Home Entertainment, The Scholastic Learning Library, Nelvana, Wang Film Productions Co., Ltd., and Mendelson-Melendez Productions.

Differences from other Clifford the Big Red Dog cartoons

The animation for The Video Adventures of Clifford the Big Red Dog direct-to-video series, came from the famous Peanuts cartoon team of Lee Mendelson and Bill Melendez, giving them a look similar to the Peanuts cartoons. All future TV series and the popular Clifford the Big Red Dog were animated by Film Roman Studios.
