Cossy Orjiakor (born October 16) is a Nigerian actress, singer, producer and video vixen. She came to limelight after featuring in a music video by Obesere.[1] She is also controversially known for showing off her large bosoms at social events and music videos.[2] In 2015, she produced her first film, Power girls, under her production company Playgirl pictures.[3]

Early life

Orjiakor was born on October 16 in Anambra State.[4][5] She graduated with a second class upper in accounting and management at University of Nigeria, Nsukka and obtained a master's degree from Lagos State University.[1][6]

Personal life

Orjiakor is known for flaunting her breast at events, she describes them as a great gift from God, and stated she wouldn't breastfeed her kids directly to keep them firm.[7] Her rise to fame was propelled by her significantly large breast, which she frequently displays.[8] Daily Post described her as the "boob star" of Nollywood.[9] Vanguard describes her as a "boobs toting" actress and singer.[10] In an interview with Encomium Magazine she stated that being a mother is a higher priority than getting married.[8]

After the arrest of a man by the Nigerian police for naming his dog Buhari,[11] Orjiakor took to social media to disclose that she named her dogs Buhari and Jonathan, and dared security agency to arrest her, as a way of advocating for the rights of ordinary citizens.[12]

Career

Orjiakor has ventured into many aspect of entertainment.[1] She has featured in musical videos, starred in films and has an album to her name. She released her debut album Nutty Queen in 2013, which she admits conveys important lessons for the masses.[13] She dismissed the possibility of going totally nude in a movie on moral grounds.[13] She highlighted exposure of her physique as part of her branding as an entertainer.[6] In January 2013, she was admonished by a female blogger to amend her lifestyle in order to stop the supposed negative perception on Igbo girls.[14] She replied explaining that the letter was an act of "joblessness", and she has brought recognition to her country internationally through her career.[15]
