Courtney Dauwalter at Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc 2019

Courtney Dauwalter (born February 13, 1985) is an American ultramarathon runner.[1] She finished the Moab 240 race in 2 days, 9 hours, and 59 minutes, faster than any of the men in the pack and beating the second-place finisher by more than 10 hours.[2]

Ultra-distance running

2016-2018. In 2016, Dauwalter set the record on the Javelina Jundred 100K and won the Run Rabbit Run 100-mile race 75 minutes ahead of second place. She also won the 2017 Run Rabbit Run during which she battled temporary blindness for the final 12 miles, a tough, technical part of the trail with rocks, turns, and obstacles.[3]

In 2018, she won the Western States 100-Mile Endurance Run, with a finishing time 17 h 27 min. Dauwalter competed in the Big Dog's Backyard Ultra in 2018, finishing 2nd overall and completing a total of 67 laps, setting the women's record at 279.268 miles.

2019. In 2019, she was first woman in the Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc in a time of 24 h 34 min. [4]
