Cwmgiedd is a community of Ystradgynlais, Powys, Wales. It is 15 miles from Swansea and 156.9 miles (252.4km) from London.

The Silent Village, a 1943 British propaganda film about destruction of the Czech village Lidice, was filmed here.[1]
