DJ Speedy, also known as Harvey Miller or "Gangsta Nerd" is a successful music producer that has worked with major entertainment industry acts all the way from Beyoncé, Nelly, Kelly Rowland to Nelly, Rich Boy, Bun B, Muprhy Lee, Gucci Mane, Young Jeezy and beyond.

DJ Speedy was catapulted into mainstream media and the entertainment industry when Grammy nominated rapper Young Jeezy placed him in the intro of one of his songs with the quote, "You a fool for this one Speedy" on his multi-platinum release: The Inspiration. Originally from Orangeburg, SC DJ Speedy has traveled all over and currently resides in Atlanta, Ga where he can really integrate with the music scene around him.

He has recently transitioned to also being an artist in addition to producer and goes by the pseudonym Harvey Miller. The DJ turned producer is working on creating his solo CD entitled Anomaly which will be composed completely of his solely produced songs.

Music career

He has served as the mix show DJ for the most popular mix show in the entire state of South Carolina where he broke records set by other major artists such as Nelly. Soon after he packed up and left to Atlanta, Ga where he founded his own production company, Speedy Productions with his cousin. Soon after he produced Big Gipp's first solo hit "Steppin' Out" in addition to the majority of Goodie Mobb's fourth CD.

His songs as a rapper are not necessarily similar to the tracks he has been known to produce as he has taken a different approach and truly gone cross genre. From making parody commercials of AT&T to Fourlokos and beyond he has made singles such as his first, "You're a Star" featuring Shawty Redd to the Seantre produced 'All of Me' which is different than his normal music.

Though very few producers are able to break the mold and become singers, Speedy may have a shot. He says, "I'm a true Aquarius, there is no one who can tell me what I can't do" and further that, "Anything that I focus and put my mind to I can achieve it".
