Dalida Khalil is a Lebanese actress, singer. Her acting career started in 2007 when she participated in a Lebanese series called Fifty-Fifty. Dalida Khalil had worked over the past 10 years in more than 19 series and has become one of the most important actresses in Lebanon as well as in the Arab world. Her true talent was revealed in 2012 when she got a leading role in a drama series Awwal Marra with the actor Peter Semaan, in 2013 when she also took a leading role in a comedy series Helwe w Kezzabe (Beautiful Liar) with the singer Ziad Bourji. In 2016-2017, Khalil had a major role in the very successful drama series Amir El Leil with pop star Ramy Ayach.
Khalil received the Murex d'Or Award for Best Rising Actress in 2012.
Personal life
Dalida Khalil was born in Mazra'et El Nahr, Zgharta District of North Lebanon and she is the niece of the Lebanese singer Laura Khalil. She graduated with an Acting and Directing degree from the Academy of Arts in the Lebanese University. Even though Khalil became well known and always in the spotlight, she remained humble and very close to her family and friends as well as with her fans. Dalida Khalil is characterized by her astonishing appearance, beautiful voice and down to earth personality and excelled in every work she participated in. Meanwhile, Khalil is still waiting for the opportunity to be acting, dancing and singing in a leading role on stage.
Career
Her career began in 2007 in Fifty Fifty series written by Nabil Assaf and Giscard Lahoud and directed by Elie Ghoreib. And after that, Dalida Khalil participated in many successful series such as Al Ta’er Al Maksour (The Broken Bird) in 2008, Souad and Nouhad in 2009, Li’annaho Al Hob (Because of Love) in 2009, Maitre Nada in 2010 written by Samia Chemaly, directed by Ghada D. Akl and produced by Marwa Group, Ajyal in 2010 written by Claudia Marchelian and directed by Philip Asmar, Dakkit Aleb in 2010, Zikra in 2011, Awwal Marra(The First Time) in 2012, Helwe W Kezzabe (Beautiful Liar) in 2012 written by Carine Rizcallah and directed by Saif al-Sheikh Najib, Al ‘Ishk Al Majnoun (The Crazy Love) in 2013, Habib Mira in 2014 written by Claude Saliba and directed by Cesar Hajj Khalil, Dawa’er Hob (The Circles of Love) in 2015 written by Sawsan Kabsi and Mahmoud Dasouki and directed by Eyad Al Kzouz.
Dalida Khalil was also the guest of honor in the series Al- ‘Arrab (The Godfather) alongside with the singer Assi El Hellani, the series was written by Hazem Sleiman and directed by Muthna Sobh and was showing in Ramadan 2015. Moreover, Dalida Khalil also excelled in her leading role with Pop Star Ramy Ayach in series Amir El Leil in 2016-2017. The series was written by Mona Tayeh, directed first by Fadi Haddad then by Elie Berbary. Several Class A actors were also part of the series including: Peter Semaan, Asaad Rechdan, Hiyam Abu Chedid, Mays Hamdan.
Her peak of success was in Helwe W Kezzabe series and it is when Khalil became widely famous and known to the public as a professional beautiful actress and mainly after the success of her film Helwe Ktir W Kezzabe that received great ratings in the Lebanese Cinema.
What also contributed in her reputation as a qualified actress not only in Lebanon but also in the Arab World, was Dawa’er Hob (The Circles of Love) series directed by Eyad El Kzouz. The series included a large number of stars from all over the Arab World, most notably: Dalida Khalil, Rajaa’ Al Jidawi, Ibrahim Al Harbi, Hicham Majdi, Yaacoub Abdallah, Chaymaa Sabt, Yaser Al Masri, Monther Rihana, Somoud AlKandari, Singer Mohammad Nour, Jessy Abdo, Tara Imad, Abdallah Al Sayf, Rijaai Kuwas, Ola Yasseen, Adam, Kholoud Issa, Samah Ghandour.
Dalida Khalil also won the public’s support and love when she participated and won first runner up in the hit show Dancing With The Stars in its 3rd season with the Syrian dancer Abdo Dalloul and was able to reach the finals where she competed with her singer colleague Anthony Touma who ended up winning the trophy.

- Dalida Khalil participated in a music video called Medri Men Wen or Choufiha law, the clip was made for a little girl sick with cancer and whose dream was to meet her idol, Dalida Khalil. The song was written by Sandrine Shouceir, composed by Joey Abi Lamaa’ and distributed by Albert Semaan. The clip was made to support the campaign Your Wish Comes True With Us and was directed by Emile Z’einni.

Cinema
Helwe Ktir W Kezzabe movie was a great success and was continuing the story series of Helwe W Kezzabe that previously aired on TV. Written by Carine Rizkallah and directed by Seif Sheikh Najib, it tells the story of this girl (Dalida) who adores lying and then falls in love with the famous singer Ramzi Deeb (Ziad Bourji). Many great actors participated in the series and movie including: George Diab, Jesse Abdo, Rania Issa and Wissam Fares. Also, Dalida Khalil and Ziad Bourji collaborated in a duo song called Inta Habib El Aleb and the clip was presented at the end as the song was dedicated for their movie together.
Miss North
As Dalida Khalil was about to enter college in 2003, she was crowned as Miss North in her home town Zgharta. The ceremony took place in “Kasr El Noujoum” in Ehden and was under the supervision of the Ministry of Tourism. The judges were: the public figure Rima Njeim, the actress Elsie Ferneiny, the journalist Antoine Fransis and the host Robert Frangieh who joyfully declared Dalida Khalil as Miss North. Khalil remained the official Miss North for 12 consecutive years until the year 2015 when she was the one to hand over the crown to Pascale Dou’eim, the new Miss North.

Dancing With The Stars
On 1 March, the 3rd season of Dancing With The Stars kicked off with 13 celebrities from Lebanon, Egypt and Tunisia. The show was aired on MTV Lebanon, FOX Movies and on the Egyptian channel Al-Nahar, presented by Media hosts Carla Haddad and Wissam Breidy and the judges were: Darren Bennett, Mira Samaha, Rabih Nahhas and Mazen Kiwan. The contestants were: the actress Dalida Khalil, the actress Carmen Lebbos, Miss USA Rima Fakih, the Tunisian model Leila Ben Khalifa, Jane Consol, Miss Egypt Amina Ashraf, Reine Achkar, the actor and professor Gabriel Yammine, the athlete Rony Fahed, the singer Anthony Touma, the singer Mohamad Atieh, Ibrahim Saiid and the model Jean-Paul Bitar. Dalida Khalil partnered up with the professional Syrian dancer Abdo Dalloul and ranked second with 39.3%.
