Dan Skuta (born April 21, 1986) is an American football linebacker for the Jacksonville Jaguars of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Grand Valley State University, and was signed by the Cincinnati Bengals as an undrafted free agent in 2009. Skuta has also played for the San Francisco 49ers.

Professional career

Cincinnati Bengals

Skuta signed with the Cincinnati Bengals as an undrafted free agent in 2009 and played with them until 2012.

San Francisco 49ers

Skuta signed with the San Francisco 49ers in 2013. He scored his first touchdown with the 49ers in 2013. Skuta returned a 47-yard touchdown after recovering a fumble forced by his San Francisco 49ers teammate Patrick Willis at Wembley Stadium in London on Sunday, Oct. 27.[1]

Jacksonville Jaguars

Skuta signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars on March 11, 2015.[2]

Personal life

In June 2016, Skuta was falsely arrested for allegedly attacking a woman. No charges were filed.[3]
