Daphne xichouensis is a shrub, of the family Thymelaeaceae. It is native to China, specifically Southeastern Yunnan.[2]

Description

The shrub is evergreen, and grows to 1.0 meters tall. Its branches are gray-brown or purple-brown and cylindrical in shape. It is often found in wet hillside forests. It flowers from January to February and bears fruit in April.[2]
