Dario Anselmo (born May 2, 1962) is an American politician and member of the Minnesota House of Representatives. A member of the Republican Party of Minnesota, he represents District 49A in the southwestern Twin Cities metropolitan area.
Early life, education, and career
Anselmo was born on May 2, 1962.[1][2] His father was a district court judge in Duluth, Minnesota.[3] He attended Whittier College, Boston University, and the University of Minnesota.[1]
Anselmo owned the Fine Line Music Cafe in Minneapolis for 19 years until selling it in 2013. He served on the boards of Edina Give and Go, the Edina Education Fund, the Mental Health Association of Minnesota, and the Minneapolis Downtown Council. He is a co-founder of the Warehouse District Business Association and is a commercial real estate broker.[2]
Anselmo volunteered on Ronald Reagan's 1980 presidential campaign and Cam Winton's 2013 Minneapolis mayoral campaign.[3]

Anselmo was first elected to the Minnesota House of Representatives in 2016, defeating Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party (DFL) incumbent Ron Erhardt.
Personal life
Anselmo and his wife, Jeanne, reside in Edina, Minnesota. They have three children.[2]
