Dave Finzer is a former professional American football player who played punter for two seasons for the Chicago Bears and Seattle Seahawks. He led the NFL in punts inside the 20-yard line with 26 in 1984. A 1978 graduate of Loyola Academy. After kicking for the University of Illinois, Finzer took his talents to Division III DePauw University in Indiana, where he punted and kicked a 52-yard field goal.
