Dave McConnell (born (1981-03-25) 25 March 1981 (age 43)) is an English born Scottish rugby league footballer for Leigh Centurions in National League One.

Dave McConnell's position of choice is as a hooker, but he can also cover at Stand-off/Five-eighth, Scrum-half/Halfback, Second-row, or loose forward/lock.

He has previously played for St. Helens, and London Broncos in the European Super League. He has also played for Chorley Lynx, and Rochdale Hornets.

McConnell is a Scotland international.

He was named in the Scotland training squad for the 2008 Rugby League World Cup.[1]
