David N. Stamos is a philosopher of science and teaches in the Philosophy Department at York University. He studied in York University, where he received his Ph.D. in 1996. He emphasizes an interdisciplinary approach to many of the topics in philosophy. His two main mottoes are: "It is not wisdom to ignore evidence" and "Politics does not determine good scholarship."
