Milica Despina of Wallachia

Milica Branković, known as Despina Elena (before 1516 – 1554) was the Princess consort of Wallachia by marriage to Neagoe Basarab. She was regent in Wallachia in 1521–1522 on the behalf of her son Teodosie of Wallachia. She was the daughter of Đorđe Branković (1461–1516), the Despot of Serbia (r. 1486–1496), and Isabella del Balzo, the daughter of Agilberto, Duke of Nardò.
