Richard "Dick" Sebast is an American story director, animator and television producer known for working at companies such as Disney, Hanna-Barbera, MGM and Universal.

Career

Sebast started his career at Walt Disney Productions as animator on Winnie the Pooh and Tigger Too, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh and as writer on The Rescuers. He then joined Hanna-Barbera and worked as Story Director on Challenge of the SuperFriends, The Ri¢hie Ri¢h/Scooby-Doo Show and The Fonz and the Happy Days Gang. He then joined Ruby-Spears Productions and worked on Thundarr the Barbarian, The Plastic Man Comedy/Adventure Show, Goldie Gold and Action Jack, Dragon's Lair, Mister T, Chuck Norris: Karate Kommandos and Sectaurs. He produced and directed Sonic the Hedgehog. He directed some episode of Season 1 Batman: The Animated Series. He was a storyboard artist on Spider-Man. He also worked as Storyboard Artist, Character Designer and Sequence Director on Rover Dangerfield. After directing The Secret of NIMH 2: Timmy to the Rescue at MGM Animation, he joined Universal Cartoon Studios and worked on The Mummy: The Animated Series as director and as Storyboard Artist on The Adventures of Brer Rabbit. He is now worked as director for some of the episodes of The Land Before Time: The Series.
