Dog Eat Dog is a 2016 American action drama film directed by Paul Schrader and written by Schrader and Matthew Wilder, based on Edward Bunker's 1995 novel of same name. The film stars Nicolas Cage, Willem Dafoe, and Schrader.

The film was the closing entry for the Directors' Fortnight section at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival.[2][3] The film has yet to receive a North American release date.

Production

Principal photography on the film began on October 19, 2015 in Cleveland, Ohio.[6][7] Filming also took place in Sheffield Lake,[8] and it ended on November 23, 2015.[9]
