Đông Anh District

Đông Anh is a rural district (huyện) of Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam. Nguyen Phu Trong, current General Secretary of Vietnam since 2011, was born there on 14 April 1944.

As of 2003, the district had a population of 277,795. The district covers an area of 182 km2 (70 sq mi). The district capital lies at Đông Anh.[1]
