Benzoxaborole group

Benzoxaboroles are organic boron-containing compounds. Their structure typically includes a fused benzene and oxaborole ring. Benzoxaborole compounds exhibit anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-protozoal, anti-viral as well as anti-inflammatory activity.[1]


Applications

Two benzoxaborole compounds are currently in clinical use: Tavaborole and Crisaborole.
