Celina Hinojosa (1961-) is a Chicana painter and illustrator known for her children's books.[1]

Biography (or Early Life and Education)[edit]

Celina Hinojosa was born in San Antonio, Texas. Her education in art began at Texas

Southmost College in Brownsville. She later went on and attended University of Texas,

Austin and Texas A & I University.[1]

  • Yo soy/ I am: The San Antonio Gallista Community. This documentary Interviews many Chicana and Chicano artists who have contributed to the world of art, including Celina Hinojosa.[2]
