Center for Digital Narrative (Norwegian: Senter for digitale fortellinger) is a Centre of Research Excellence at the University of Bergen (UiB), funded by the Research Council of Norway for the period 2023-2033..[1]
CDN aims to explore algorithmic narrativity, new environments and materialities and changing cultural contexts. The center will focus on humanities-led research in electronic literature, game studies, digital culture and computing to promote the understanding of digital narratives.
The center will be led by Scott Rettberg and Jill Walker Rettberg, Professors of digital culture at UiB. The center will have an interdisciplinary approach and collaborate with researchers from several faculties at UiB, as well as national and international partners[2]
