This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of music-related topics). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). DJ Smallz 732
[edit]Isaiah Henry (born January 7, 1996), known professionally as DJ Smallz 732, is an American DJ, producer, and songwriter.[1] He is best known for his work in the Jersey Club music genre and has produced music for notable hip-hop and R&B artists.
Early Life
[edit]Smallz was born and raised in Asbury Park, New Jersey, and is of Jamaican and American descent. His cultural background and heritage played a significant role in shaping and influencing his musical identity. Smallz attended Neptune High School, graduating in 2014. He began his music career during 2008 at the age of 12, inspired by his older brother, who was already involved in DJing. Smallz's brother facilitated his introduction to Jersey Club culture.
Career
[edit]Smallz has been active in the music industry since 2008, primarily focusing on the Hip Hop, Dance, and R&B genres. He solidified his presence in the Jersey Club genre with his 2015 remix of fun.'s most popular song "We Are Young." This remix was recognized by Billboard as one of "The 41 Best Jersey Club Songs Ever" and was later sampled in Ciara's platinum-certified single "Level Up."[2][3][4] In 2022, Smallz collaborated with Coi Leray as a co-primary artist and producer on a remix of her song "Players". The remix gained significant attention on social media platforms, including being featured in over 1.8 million TikTok videos, and garnered as as many views on YouTube as the original song.[5][6]
Notably, he produced the song "Everybody" by Nicki Minaj featuring Lil Uzi Vert, which achieved significant success, reaching #1 on the US Urban and Rhythmic Radio charts, #1 on the Billboard 200 Album chart, and #5 on the US Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.[7] [8] In December of 2023, Smallz was featured on on Billboard's Top 10 Rap Producer chart.[9]
