Suwaiba Said Ahmad (born 13 February 1981) is a Nigerian educationist and she was the minister of state of education and also associate professor at Bayero University Kano. She was appointed as the Minister of State for Education on the 23rd of October 2024 by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.[1][2][3][4][5]

Early life and Education

Dr.Suwaiba Said Ahmad was born in jigawa state Babura on the 13th of February 1981 into Saidus family[6].she started her educational journey from Bayero University staff primary school in kano state.And she continue to Bayero University kano state for her first Degree in Bachelor in science Education (B.Sc.ED) and obtained her first Degree certificate in 2003.[7]She also obtained her Master of Education(M.Ed) in curriculum studies in 2009 in Bayero University kano state.She earned her Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Science Education from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in 2014.[8][9]

Dr.suwaiba said Ahmad is a Educationist, a associate professor in Department of chemistry Education Bayero University Kano state. She also served as the provost Jigawa state college of Education and legal studies from (March 2024 to October 2024) consultant and work with NGO.She was the director of center for gender studies (2022 to 2024).[10]
