From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Elysia started out at the young age of 4, playing for boys club Marton FC before moving onto girls football when she got herself a place in the Teesside Girls Regional Talent Club. Elysia started her professional career, joining Middlesbrough WFC as a hard working Midfielder. She immediately broke into Boros first Xl, making her senior debut at the age of 16. She spent two seasons with Boro, battling it out in the FA Women’s National League Northern Premier Division. This was some very important experience to gain. During the first half of the 21/22 season she scored 3 goals in 15 appearances before being snapped up by Leicester City in February 2022. Her first taste of WSL (Women's Super League) football, was coming off the bench in a 3-0 win over West Ham United.

Elysia quickly moved on however, joining Bristol City in the summer of 2022, putting pen to paper to Join the Robins for the 22/23 season. This season saw her pick up her first silverware, helping them win promotion from the Women's Championship.

Her career would change direction once again, this time back closer to home. She signed for North East giants, Newcastle United W.F.C. The club, going professional for the first time at the end of the 22/23 season, bringing in a whole host of new players for the start of the 23/24 campaign to really give the women's third tier something to think about. Elysia with her creativity, energy and hard working attributes making her a stand out buy for the magpies. Already scoring goals and occasionally playing in front of some huge crowds at St James Park, Elysia has a promising future ahead with the Magpies!

ENGLAND

Playing in the WSL obviously was a key factor for Elysia to develop and further her opportunities within the England pathway. She had already been in the spotlight with England in her younger years, selected for youth camps from Under-15s through to Under-18s. In the Marbella International Tournament, she came off the bench at half time, scoring on her debut for the Under-19 development squad, in a 4-0 win over Finland. As she further impresses at Newcastle, she hopes her prospects of breaking into the England first team won't be too far away.[1][2][3]
