Early life

[edit]

Eshal Fayyaz was born on October 21, 1994, in Karachi, Pakistan. She pursued her higher education at the University of Karachi, where she completed her studies before entering the entertainment industry.

Career

[edit]

Eshal began her career in modeling in 2011 at the age of 18, influenced by her older sister, who was also a model. She transitioned to acting in 2015 with her debut role in the television drama "Abro," where she played the lead character.[3] This role marked the beginning of her acting career, leading to further opportunities in television dramas.

Following her debut, Fayyaz appeared in several other television dramas, including "Khidmat Guzar," "Dil-e-Majboor," "Rashk, " "Hatheli," "Paimanay," and "Tabeer."[4] In 2019, she made her film debut in "Kaaf Kangana," a project directed by Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar and produced by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR). The film featured Fayyaz in a leading role, opposite with Sami Khan and Ayesha Omer.[5][6][7][8]

Personal life

[edit]

Rumors regarding Eshal's personal life emerged, particularly focusing on a supposed marriage to Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar, which both individuals publicly denied.[9] [10] [11] Fayyaz faced personal challenges from an early age, including the death of her father and subsequent remarriage of her mother. In 2021, she disclosed in an interview her experiences of surviving attempted sexual assault by her stepfather during her childhood.[12][13][14]
