Draft:Eve (bar)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Eve Bar is a cocktail bar located in London, United Kingdom,[1] established by Adam Handling. [2]

History

[edit]

Eve Bar was launched in 2017 as part of Adam Handling's expansion into the London culinary and nightlife scene.[3] The bar is situated in the basement of Handling's flagship restaurant, Frog by Adam Handling, in Covent Garden.[3]

The name "Eve" reflects the bar's inspiration from the themes of temptation and indulgence, echoing the story of Eve in the Garden of Eden.[3][4]

Cocktail menu

[edit]

The menu features a variety of cocktails that often incorporate by-products from the restaurant's kitchen.[5] For example, fruit peels, herbs, and other ingredients that might otherwise go to waste are repurposed in the bar's drinks, aligning with the zero-waste philosophy of Handling's establishments.[6]

Reception

[edit]

Eve has received reviews from both critics and patrons for its approach to cocktails[7] and its commitment to sustainability.[6][1]

Eve has been featured in several publications, including Time Out, The Evening Standard, and The Drinks Business, which have highlighted its concept and the quality of its offerings.[3][7][8]
