Early Life[edit]
Guido Küwen, known professionally as GFX (born on March 15, 1981, in Mainz, Germany) began his musical journey in the local choir, Mainzer Domchor. Singing first as a soprano and later as a tenor, Guido developed a deep appreciation for classical choir music, orchestral works, opera and a capella performances. This early exposure laid the foundation for a diverse musical career.
Education and Early Career[edit]
In addition to choir singing, Guido explored other musical avenues, learning classical guitar and piano from a young age. Juggling a passion for music with academic pursuits, Guido earned a degree in electronics.[1] and later embarked on a career as an IT Consulting Manager. This unique combination of skills and experiences would later influence his approach to music production.
Musical Style and Influences[edit]
GFX's style is best described as "autobiographic," a unique genre encompassing a wide range of musical influences from his life. This style includes elements of choir music, classical compositions and an array of genres experienced throughout his journey.
