George Stewart Ealham (born March 8 2002) is an English cricketer. He is a right handed bastsman and right arm medium pace bowler.[1]
Early life
[edit]Ealham attended Cranleigh School, where he was first-XI captain in 2020.[2]
Career
[edit]Ealham began to feature as a twelfth-man for Kent County Cricket Club during the 2022 season.[3]
Ealham featured as a substitute fielder, for the injured Moeen Ali, for the England Cricket Team in an Ashes test match July 2023, against Australia at The Oval. Ealham showed great athleticism to run and throw to Jonny Bairstow enact a potential run-out of Australian batter Steve Smith which was controversially given not-out on review.[4][5]
Personal life
[edit]He is the son of cricketer Mark Ealham and grandson of Alan Ealham. He is also the brother of Tommy Ealham.[6][7]
