Heart of the Beast is an upcoming American action film directed by David Ayer and written by Cameron Alexander. The film is about a former Navy SEAL and his retired combat dog who attempt to return to civilization after a catastrophic accident deep in the Alaskan wilderness. It will be released by Paramount Pictures.
Production
[edit]In March 2024, David Ayer signed on as director of Heart of the Beast from a script by Cameron Alexander, who will also serve as an executive producer. The film will follow a former Navy SEAL and his retired combat dog's attempt to return to civilization after a devastating accident in the Alaskan wilderness. Damien Chazelle and Olivia Hamilton will produce the film through their company Wild Chickens Entertainment, with Paramount Pictures distributing as part of a first look deal between the companies, and Ayer and Chris Long serve as producers through Cedar Park Entertainment.[1]
