Holafly is a company that provides mobile internet connectivity services to tourists and international travelers.[1] Their main product is the international eSIM. It was founded by Pedro Maiquez and Lidia Hu.

History and Evolution[edit]

Holafly emerged as an alternative to data roaming services[2]. Initially, they offered local and international SIM cards for Spanish travelers.

In 2018, Holafly joined 'Lanzadera'[3], an acceleration program for Spanish startups. Entering the program with a team of 3 and a business model in progress, they worked together for 10 months, multiplying their revenue and consolidating a team of over 15 people.

Later that year, Holafly launched a new product, eSIMs[4], enabling it to expand internationally, open up to the global market, and begin forming a multicultural team.[5]
