Early Life & Career
[edit]Iv4 was born in August 1998 and raised in St. Louis,[3] Details about her early life, including her family background and upbringing, remain relatively private. She started her career posting covers and other content on TikTok. Her passion for music emerged at a young age, influenced by the rich musical heritage of her region. She signed with Warner Records in late 2020[citation needed], and issued her first single, "Swimming", in December of that year, as the label's first release which featured rapper Trippie Redd.[4][5][6] Her third single, "ONLY FANS", was released in 2021.[7] Her single "Stroke", featuring Jeremih,[8] was released in 2022, accompanied by a music video.[9][10]
She released her solo 8-track EP Get Rich and Cry Trying.[11] Paying loose homage to 50 Cent's album Get Rich or Die Tryin, The project featured guest appearances from Jeremih.[12][13]
