International Education Board - IEB

[edit]

The International Education Board (IEB) is a private organization headquartered in London, United Kingdom, that assesses and accredits academies and higher education institutions (HEIs). It is also an associate member of the Asia Pacific Quality Network[1] and a strategic partner of the American Accreditation Board.[2]

History

[edit]

The International Education Board (IEB) was officially established on November 22, 2021, in London, UK. The organization initially operated under the name International Skill Education Quality Standards Accreditation from its inception in 2012 until the name change in 2021.[3] The rebranding to International Education Board was part of an effort to reflect its broader scope in higher education accreditation at International level.

Grading System

[edit]

The IEB grades institutions on an eight-grade ladder based on their cumulative grade point average (CGPA):[4]
