Josiah “JJ” Dickinson (born 30 October 1989) is an English rugby union player who plays for Championship Rugby club, Caldy. He plays in the back row[1] and captains the team.[2]
Career
[edit]Dickinson’s journey with Caldy began when he was just 12 years old.[3] His brother, Sam (formerly of Northampton Saints), also started his rugby journey on the Wirral alongside JJ.[4]
Dickinson is the most successful captain in Caldy’s history,[5] having captained the team to promotion from the National Two North and National One divisions.
A bank at Caldy’s home ground, Paton Field, has been named in Dickinson’s honour.[5]
