Jo'Vaughn Martin is an American track and field athlete who competes as a sprinter.[1]

Career

From Houston, he attended Sam Houston University before transferring to Florida State University. During the 2021 track season he ran a 200 metres personal best time of 20.22 seconds in Jacksonville.[2] On 17 April 2021, Martin broke the 10-second barrier when he clocked 9.94 seconds for the 100 metres running for Florida State University.[3][4] His previous best had been a wind-assisted time of 10.17 seconds when he was competing for Sam Houston State in 2019.[5] He finished fourth in the 2021 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships 100 metres final, in a time of 10.12 seconds.[6] In 2022, at the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships, he finished fourth in a time of 10.09 seconds.[7]

He competed in the relay at the 2023 NCAA Championships.
