History[edit]

In 2012, Alliance for Justice was founded by a few lawyers in Cambodia, the first law group (law office) that provides pro-bono legal service to humanity in their local. Alliance for Justice was led by Mr. Sovann Moeurn, which was inspired by the Khmer Rouge Tribunal or Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia when Sovann was the escort lawyer to witness people from 2008-2011.

In 2018, Alliance for Justice was changed to Khmer Mekong Law Group.[2]
